da bomb: adjective; really stinking cool.

yarn has been a happening place this week. wednesday our shop was on lock-down when a bomb threat was called in to the dillions store across the street. at least that is what debbie figured out after asking a group of firefighters congregating outside the front door. if you had been here that morning, you would have been treated to coffee and free entertainment. clothing was optional and based solely on personal preference.

all the excitement outside could not eclipse the busy work happening on the inside. new yarn is arriving for fall and aunt mary has made an apperance to help revamp the shop. don’t forget to budget for our big birthday sale on the 18th, and if you come in right now we have a big box sale going on in the front of the store. we need this yarn to go to a good home, so we can use the space for new lines and products.

 the countdown to the state fair continues, and some of us (me and debbie) are scrambling to complete our projects in time. i have all the confidence that i could possibly finish if i didn’t have to pack my entire life into small manageable boxes this weekend. i don’t know what debbie’s excuse is. –shannon
